Kenneth hails from Ville Platte, Louisiana and is married to a lovely lady named Babette.  Kenneth and Babette have spent 27 wonderful years together.

Prior to becoming a professional heavy equipment operator Kenneth spent 12 years driving semi truck pulling tankers over the road.  In 2003 Kenneth decided to hang up his life on the open road and sold his truck.  He soon settled down and worked as the parts and service manager for an RV company, but the economy being the way it is Kenneth knew he had to make another change in his life and went with a field that is a natural fit for him…heavy equipment.

Meet National Training Heavy Equipment Operator School’s Graduate of the Month for November 2010 Mr. Jim Hill of Ocala, Florida.

Jim graduated in June of this year and we wanted to make sure he received his just dues by making sure he made the Graduate of the Month page.

Jim is “partially retired”, as he puts it and lives at home with his son, his daughter in-law and his grandchildren.  Jim tells us there is plenty of laughter in his home with his grandchildren around and he thoroughly enjoys the time he gets to spend with them.

An interesting fact about Jim is this isn’t his first time around with us.  .  Jim graduated from our Class A CDL truck driver training program in February 1998 and he was an over the road truck driver and even an owner/operator for a period of time.

National Heavy Equipment Operator School Graduate of the Month for September 2010.

Arthur is married and as he proudly tells us “I’ve been with the same wonderful woman going on 20 years and who fully supported me in this effort.”  Wow, it seems you are one lucky guy Arthur.  We hope you will bring her down for a visit so we can meet this wonderful lady you speak so highly of.

Along with a “wonderful women” as his wife, Arthur has 2 children and 3 grandchildren to call his family.  Arthur, a man that has this much luck is very blessed indeed.  Congratulations.

Before becoming a professional heavy equipment operator Arthur earned a living as a ceramic tile setter and he also spent some time on a pipe crew in the ditch.  It was at this point Arthur decided that if he was going to stay in construction it would be as an equipment operator.  We can’t blame you for that Arthur.  In fact, we have had many students in the exact same situation; they start out in the ditch doing the manual labor and dirty part of the job and finally realize that the guy up in the equipment looked pretty clean and comfortable.

Although Cody graduated in June of this year we wanted to make sure he received his just due recognition.

Cody is from Hawthorne, Florida where grew up.  Before attending National for his Heavy Equipment training Cody worked at a water treatment facility and he was also a mechanic.

Cody told us he always liked heavy equipment machinery and he used to drive his uncles grove tractors when he was little.  After that the closest thing to a piece of heavy equipment he had around was his lawn tractor his parents bought him.  At one point his parents bought him a couple of jet skies when he was 14; by the time he turned 16 he traded them for a 1961 tractor and a box blade.

National Training Heavy Equipment Operator School would like to present our Graduate of the Month for July 2010.

Meet Mr. Daniel Noguez.

Daniel came to us from Naples, Florida.  Although Daniel is not married he does a very impressive family.  He has 6 siblings, 4 brother and 2 sisters.  Wow, we hope he isn’t the youngest.  Anyway Daniel’s father worked in the construction industry for over 20 years and his mother, we must say, had the hardest job of the two.  Daniel’s mother was a stay at home mom and as admitted by Daniel…”had her hands full”.  We can only image.  Hopefully, Daniel and his SIX siblings weren’t too tough growing up for her.

National Training Heavy Equipment Operator School would like to introduce our June 2010 Graduate of the Month Mr. Alonzo Thomas.

Alonzo came to us from Melbourne, Florida and he is married to his lovely wife of 22 years and they have two boys age 18 and 9.  Both Alonzo and his wife are retired from the United States Airforce.  Alonzo worked as an Administrative Clerk and his wife was a Physician’s Assistant.

After 20 years of working inside Alonzo decided his love of the outdoors and physical labor are what drove him to become a Professional Heavy Equipment Operator.  He couldn’t have chosen a better field if that’s what he was looking for.  We do need to add one thing though.  We don’t know how much physical labor you’re actually going to be doing besides pushing and pulling levers Alonzo.

Karl attended our program in March of this year and we wanted to make sure he received his due recognition.

Karl has 4 children and let us tell you he is one proud father of each one.  Karl has two boys and two girls between the ages of fifteen months to 22 years.  Wow Karl way to go.  Karl went on to tell us his oldest son is close to completing a 4 year tour in the Marine Corp and his oldest daughter is one exceptional artist and his youngest daughter is an outstanding soccer player.  His youngest son is growing so fast and, like his father, likes to play with things that are mechanical.

Karl himself recently retired from the Marine Corp after 20 years working in electronics, radio and computer repair.

Karl, as we do with all of our veterans, we want to thank you profoundly for your service to this country.
