In Heavy Equipment News: The U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau
of Labor Statistics, reports that heavy equipment job opportunities
will continue to grow through 2012 “— due, in
part, to the shortage of adequate training programs.”
They go onto say that employment in the construction industry
will increase along with population and business growth, adding
that more construction operators will be needed in heavy equipment
operator positions for highway, bridge, and street construction.
Traditionally it was enough for interested workers to apprentice
under the supervision of an established operator to learn
the tricks of the trade. But Heavy Equipment News reports
that as new equipment keeps pace with technology, and construction
safety regulations become more rigorously enforced, it is
no longer possible to simply “step into a job”.
Heavy equipment operator jobs will be off limits to unqualified,
uncertified, workers.
The Bottom line: If you do not possess the proper operating
and safety certificates to run the equipment there will be
NO JOB. For

National Heavy Equipment Operators School (EarthMoverSchool.com)
introduces an innovative and comprehensive training program,
reducing class time and offering candidates extensive, realistic
hands on field training.
In preparation for any one of the numerous heavy equipment
operator jobs, candidates complete a home study section (practical
knowledge on construction equipment) before qualifying for
hands-on-training. A representative from the school told Heavy
Equipment News, “This ensures that candidates have the
required knowledge on equipment and safety, before ever sitting
behind the controls of any heavy construction equipment.”
Heavy Equipment News reports, first hand, that the 350-acre
training complex (located in Green Cove Springs, North Florida)
replicates everyday working conditions for a training advantage
bar none. The NHEOS proudly claims 25,000 successfully trained
graduates and hosts students from all fifty states.
Heavy Equipment News update: EarthMoversSchool.com partners
with the some of the biggest names in the construction equipment
industry, thus providing trainees with a sufficient number
of properly working machines during their residency. The school
also provides extensive job resources for its graduates to
aid in the quest for entry-level employment.
